Hello! I'm Bryant Mabee, your pilot and the proud owner of Freedom Ballooning. My passion for ballooning began at the tender age of five when my family and I would embark on adventures to our local festival, eagerly chasing after colorful balloons during their morning launches. We'd patiently follow them until they landed, eagerly joining the chase crew to help pack everything up. Fast forward to 2020, when I finally began my training to become a hot air balloon pilot, also gaining experience by assisting other local pilots. After years of dedication and hard work, I successfully passed my commercial pilot exam in 2024 this made my dream come true! Today, I thrive on sharing the magic of ballooning with others, fulfilling my lifelong dream of providing unforgettable aerial experiences for all who join me. As a local first responder, I bring vital decision-making skills to every flight, ensuring that your experience will always prioritize safety. Our fleet consists of three new balloons, each capable of carrying 2-6 passengers comfortably. What sets us apart in the area is our unique door basket design, allowing for easy boarding and de-boarding without the hassle of climbing over the basket. We take pride in our commitment to safety, regularly attending yearly safety seminars and maintaining full insurance coverage. With us, you can enjoy a delightful ride while being assured of your well-being. Your safety is our top priority, and we are dedicated to providing an exceptional and secure hot air balloon experience. One of my favorite aspects of flying is witnessing the diverse reactions of passengers as the plane ascends from the ground. It’s heartwarming to see how strangers can quickly transform into friends during our journey through the clouds. If you’re feeling anxious about heights, fear not; I’ll do my best to uplift your spirit and make the experience enjoyable. With the best chase crew by my side, we ensure a smooth takeoff and landing, aiming for nothing less than an extraordinary adventure. Once we return to the launch site, we can indulge in some delightful refreshments while sharing our stories and exchanging pictures from the flight.
